Venture 2010 - Coaching
The role of coaches The coaches are essential to the successful implementation of the business idea.

Who are they? Coaches are successful entrepreneurs from a variety of industry sectors, investors, lawyers and professors. They support participants on a voluntary basis during the competition.

What do they do? Coaches are expert and personal advisors and discussion partners to the young entrepreneurs on all questions concerning their business plans. They also support competition participants in preparing the founding of their company.

How to get a coach? Participants must actively seek and request a coach. They can do this from the beginning of October 2009 until the middle of May 2010 (via VOL). Coaches are entitled to decline a coaching request. Coaches are obliged to maintain confidentiality and sign a confidentiality agreement.

Why? Coaching is one of the key success factors in the Venture competition. The benefits to the entrepreneur teams are, on the one hand, competent, constructive and personalized feedback on the business idea and business plan, and, on the other, new and valuable contacts.

Coaching is also an enriching experience for the coaches, as feedback from previous competitions shows: "Working together with young entrepreneur teams was fascinating!" and "The large number of creative business ideas was a pleasant surprise to me."
