Alex Stöckl

As Founding Partner at Wingman Ventures I am helping founders of Swiss tech startups to achieve their ambitious goals in becoming international market leaders. We invest as lead investor at pre-seed and seed stage and currently I hold board positions at RoomPriceGenie, Kollabo and Backbone Photo. Prior to that I have invested for several years in tech startups with Creathor Ventures, one of Europe's leading early-stage venture capital funds. Among the startups that I've invested in and supported the founders of, were companies like Allthings Technologies, HeyJobs and Knip.

Before joining the investor side, I was responsible for business development and operations at Gärtnerei, a gastronomy startup, driving the growth journey from a single restaurant to a healthy convenience food chain. Prior to that I worked as a Senior Consultant at Roland Berger’s Zurich office, consulting management of industry & healthcare clients on strategic challenges.

I hold an MIB from Grenoble Graduate School of Business and a BBA from European University Barcelona. In 2017 I have been nominated a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum, and have been active member of the community's Zurich Hub since then. Of Luxembourgish nationality, I’ve lived, studied and worked in Germany, Spain, France, Sweden & Switzerland. Besides spending time in the startup ecosystem, I love travelling, working on gastronomic passion projects, doing lots of sports and being outside around the beautiful Swiss lakes & mountains.
