Charlotte Van Hautekerke is a business lawyer and an entrepreneurial Commercial Manager in the highly regulated environment of pharmaceutical, medical devices and sterilization industry.
As a lawyer she mainly gained experience with M&A, due diligence, corporate/commercial law, compliance and establishing a business (e.g. term sheets).
When transitioning to the commercial side, and over the last 12 years, this analytical side enabled her to perform successfully in highly regulated environments, across a variety of roles, including business development in EMEA (e.g. market analysis), strategic sales & marketing (e.g. hunting & farming, segmentation, value proposition, P&L, digital marketing, platform strategy), launching new technology/products (succeeding revenue targets), establishing partnerships (networking), drafting & negotiating legal/quality documents (NDA, T&C, customer/supplier agreements), compliance/regulatory (ISO standards), commercial excellence with LEAN process management (process modifications, optimizations and implementation of processes and legal documents).
Moreover, she developed her skills in consulting and in cross-functional project management.
Since pitching a venture capitalist in Silicon Valley for a Swiss medical devices startup, she has started to invest in the Swiss startup ecosystem.
