The integrated Systems Laboratory has started a collaboration together with Daimler Chrysler Aerospace to develop a new generation of highly flexible and mobile systems for the physiological monitoring of vital biomedical parameters, called BodyCOM. BodyCOM will help ensure the health and safety of the men and women living aboard the station. It will be less complicated to apply, especially for crew members without formal medical training.
