Dr. Marcos Garcia Pedraza is a healthcare entrepreneur. He is founder and managing partner of orgart. VENTURES, a company builder with a track record of successfully building technology-driven companies, and strong ties to investors in the healthcare industry, and experts in life sciences, material sciences and computer sciences. orgart has a deep understanding of technology-driven business models and supports startups to achieve their visions, investors to invest in winners, and established corporations to grow in future markets. In 2015 Marcos founded pd.coop (Patria Digitalis) a crypto cooperative based in the Crypto Valley Zug and currently developing a secure messanger based on privacy and trust by design. Marcos was trained in life sciences at ETH Zurich, in entrepreneurship at Babson College, holds a PhD in business economics from the University of St.Gallen, and received in 2002 the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award with START, and in 2006 the SWITCH Innovation Award and 2007 the Telefonica VIDA Award with etoy. He is a passionate contemporary art and wild nature lover.
