Araris develops antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for targeted cancer therapy. Generating ADCs with current methods is complex and expensive, and they often have limited stability and suboptimal efficacy. Without engineering, we can turn any native antibody into an ADC with optimal properties.

Current methods to measure water pollution either raise ethical concerns of animal welfare or require considerable amount of manual intervention. Rainbow Biosystems developed an automated, fish cell impedance-based biosensing system for detecting water toxicity.

Diagnosis of mental disorders is currently based on subjective data and strongly depends on the individual physician. There is no early warning device for patients and no systematic tracking of successful treatments. PeakProfiling’s solution: an algorithm to diagnose depression from the voice using quantitative musicology.

Due to the current recycling technology, only 7 % of recycled PET bottles are remade into new bottles. If we can close the loop of PET recycling, we can save 2000 gallons of gasoline per ton of plastic, and reduce the energy required to produce new plastic by 66 %.  At Deploy, we have developed a novel solution allowing the chemical recycling of PET plastic back to its two main components.

Targeted to kids, it runs on Android, iOS. We tested it with 3k families and we’re going to the market in April ‘19. The only way to pass challenges is to play the right notes on a real piano or keyboard. Kids learn without noticing thanks to a teaching method devised by music professors, joined with engaging game experience.

HAYA Therapeutics is developing a proprietary anti-fibrotic therapy for myocardial fibrosis and heart failure by targeting a master regulator of fibrosis in the heart, Wisper. Heart failure as a consequence of myocardial fibrosis is the world’s biggest killer and represents a significant unmet medical need. HAYA will also implement a target discovery engine to develop a pipeline of lncRNA anti-fibrotic targets in multiple tissues/indications.
