Franziska Gsell Etterlin is Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Board Member of IWC Schaffhausen, overseeing Product Strategy and Marketing & Communications since 2015. She leads more than 80 professionals at IWC headquarters and over 100 marketing specialists in 75+ countries. Her responsibilities include shaping IWC's global brand identity and driving product, marketing, and communications strategy across markets and channels. With client centricity at the core, she manages global campaigns, digital and content initiatives, partnerships, ambassador relations, events, PR, and retail experiences, while spearheading the company's omnichannel transformation and data-driven customer engagement.

Franziska also chairs IWC's Sustainability Committee, which she has led for more than seven years, embedding sustainability into all business decisions and positioning IWC as an industry leader in responsible watchmaking. Since 2022, she has additionally chaired the Sustainability Committee of Richemont's luxury watch division.

Before joining IWC, Franziska held leadership roles across luxury, fashion, and FMCG. She served as CEO of Fogal, a Swiss luxury hosiery and knitwear brand, and as Marketing Director and Executive Board Member at Lindt and Feldschlösschen/Carlsberg. Earlier, she began her career in the fashion sector after studying Business Administration and Marketing at Zurich's University of Applied Sciences.

In addition to her executive role at IWC, Franziska is a Non-Executive Board Member of the Zurich Convention Center, a board member of Laureus Sport for Good Foundation Switzerland, and since 2024, a member of the Global Advisory Board of Femella, supporting young female professionals.
