Matthias Halusa

Matthias Halusa, PhD, is an internationally experienced business leader with over 30 years across Europe, Asia and the Americas, most recently as CEO Central Europe for multinational BASF. He has led global business units with P&L responsibility up to €500m, driven major M&A, carve-outs and PMI projects, and championed climate and sustainability advocacy within the chemical industry while serving on the Boards of scienceindustries and economiesuisse. He now serves as a Non-Executive Director on several Boards and is active as an Advisor and Investor in the start-up field.
