Petra Hillmann

Petra has 19 years of international experience in drug development, spanning roles in academia, pharmaceutical companies, and the biotech industry. She is a preclinical leader with expertise across discovery, translational science, and non‑clinical to early clinical development in multiple disease areas, including oncology, rare diseases, neuroscience, dermatology, and regenerative medicine.
Her primary interest is advancing early research concepts into robust therapeutic development programs and driving innovation toward clinical application.
Petra is a trained pharmacist and holds a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Bonn, Germany. She completed postdoctoral training in molecular medicine at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, USA.
