Roland Scholz

In his current role as Associate Director External Innovation, Roland Scholz scouts for and evaluates external platform opportunities to drive scientific innovation and support shaping Johnson & Johnson’s R&D strategy. Prior to this role he held a position as a discovery scientist in immuno-oncology at Covagen AG, an ETH spin-off that was acquired by Johnson & Johnson.

Roland Scholz completed his training as a biochemist at the University of Regensburg (Germany) and the University of Colorado at Boulder (USA). He received his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver (Canada).
