Sustainability & Impact Make Their Debut in the >>venture>> Competition and Are Here To Stay
We've been working on something truly meaningful here at >>venture>>. In order to best help startups prepare for what the future brings, we have committed to guiding entrepreneurs on how to incorporate sustainability and impact into their business at an early stage.
To do so, we've added a new evaluation criterion to our competition: sustainability and impact.
And we're not stopping there. We've partnered with one of the experts in sustainability, SEIF, to help educate each participating startup on what sustainability and impact could look like for them based on the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).
How are we doing that? By providing you access with SEIF's unique self-assessment tool: Get Your Impact.
Get Your Impact is a simple-to-use self-assessment tool to measure and compare a startup's socio-environmental impact in a standardized and systematic way. The tool is based on the five impact dimensions of the Impact Management ProjectTM, an internationally renowned framework to measure impact. SEIF‘s decade-long experience in supporting and assessing pan-European tech for impact ventures has gone into the development of the tool.
The tool will allow the >>venture>> jurors to evaluate the sustainability & impact criterion of every startup in a standardized way, regardless of industry and business model. Remember, this tool is based on the UN's 17 SDG's.

Sustainability is an aspect to business that is here to stay. It's important to think about the impact your startup can have, and we're happy to help you along the way.
