Events & MarComm Intern
Job description
As our Events & MarComm intern, you help bring >>venture>>’s message to every Swiss startup and
attract promising entrepreneurs to the competition by regularly attending startup events. You
support the team in creating and executing promotional campaigns and keeping our website and
social media channels up to date. Additionally, you help organize interactive workshops and events
for our participants and draft communications that keep our participants updated with the latest
information. In our small team, your fresh ideas are welcome, and you report to the CEO of the
>>venture foundation>>.
Responsibilities include:

Understanding the Swiss startup eco-system and attending industry events during the evenings

Helping organize events with administrative tasks
-
Liaising directly with our network of mentors and jurors via email and telephone
-
Writing communications for our website, events, newsletter, social media, and participants
-
Presenting >>venture>> at different events/university lecture halls
-
Helping ideate and create marketing/advertising campaigns

Collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from our campaigns and participants

Managing and updating company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM- Hubspot)

Supporting the events and marketing teams in daily administrative tasks
Your Qualifications:
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is a plus

You show meticulous attention to detail and hold your work up to high standards
-
You are proactive and creative, and can work independently as part of a team
-
Comfortable writing for social media, website content, promotional content and formal communications

Understanding of digital marketing
-
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
-
Knowledge of design software and Hubspot a plus (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Canva etc.)

Open and confident personality with a “can-do” attitude
-
You can work variable hours in order to attend events on evenings and weekends across Switzerland

We offer you a flexible and dynamic position located in Hardbrücke, Zurich.
Start date: ASAP until July 15, 2023, or upon mutual agreement.
