Eldian Biomed is developing CloudLi-1, an intra-articular “microcushion” for osteoarthritis. CloudLi turns lipid nanoparticle aggregation into a controllable, injectable crosslinked structure: the lipid surface lubricates/protects cartilage while a bioactive linker dampens local inflammatory pain pathways. Proof-of-concept in rodent OA models; next: rat/sheep, CMC scale-up, and regulatory path to FIH. Platform tunable for local-tissue anchored drug delivery and standalone asset generation.
