The lack of an adequate power grid makes the deployment of fast charging points long and tedious. With EPFL, HES-SO and industrial partners, WattAnyWhere designs and sells a unique off-grid, energy-on-demand system that avoids current capacity shortfalls. It uses solid oxide fuel cells to convert renewable ethanol into clean electricity for charging point operators at parking lots or roadside service stations. Scalable, it will address other segments that need mobile, dependable electricity.
